Police seek witnesses after dog left in car in Bangor on hot day

Police are seeking witnesses after a dog was left in a car during hot weather in Bangor.

Officers received a call reporting that a dog was trapped in a vehicle in high temperatures in the car park at Tesco, Bangor on 28th August this year, between 3pm and 5.15pm.

Police attended attended and located the dog with members of the public.

North Wales Police said the vehicle was not appropriately equipped to house a dog unattended.

The force said: “Numerous members of the public were at the location prior to Police arrival and may have been witness to the animal being left in the vehicle.

“We are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with photos/videos to to contact us either by live webchat online or via 101, quoting ref 21000602192”
