Wrexham County Borough Council covers the borough of Wrexham in north Wales, with Wrexham itself as the biggest town in that area. There are 47 electoral areas that make up the area covered by the council.

Where are the main Wrexham council buildings situated?

The main contact buildings are at 16 Lord Street in Wrexham. The postcode for satnav is LL11 1LG. This is within walking distance of Wrexham Central railway station. (Wrexham General railway station is slightly further away, but the buildings can still be reached from there.) You can also get there via road, with the A483 running nearby to the north and west of the council buildings.

The council also maintains six separate housing estate offices, as follows:

The main council switchboard can be reached on 01978 298996. They will put you through to the department you need to reach. The council also offers a text relay service, which requires you to add 18001 before the switchboard number (or any department number you wish to call).

When are the council offices open?

Opening hours vary depending on which day of the week you go. From Monday to Wednesday, you can visit between 9am and 4.30pm. Thursdays have a later opening time of 10.30am, but the offices close an hour later at 5.30pm to compensate. The offices are open between 9am and 4.30pm again on Fridays.
