Police appeal for sightings of 4×4 after bag containing cannabis found in Gwynedd village

Police are appealing for sightings of a 4×4 in a Gwynedd village following the discovery of a bag containing cannabis.

Officers posted about the finding of the blue backpack in Brynrefail on Facebook on Monday inviting the owner to come forward.

They said: “Could the owner of the below property please attend Caernarfon police station with suitable ID to make arrangements regarding disposal of the below which you may have misplaced. Kind regards, Rota 3. Please quote incident mumber B035344.”

An update was then shared by members of the Gwynedd North policing team yesterday.

They posted: “Following on from yesterday’s discovery in Brynrefail, we are keen to speak to anyone who saw a dark coloured Utility/4X4 type vehicle in the area on Sunday, 13th March.

“If you saw this vehicle, or have any other information that could help us with our enquiries, please contact us via LiveChat or 101, quoting reference B035344.

“If you have any concerns about drug supply in your area, please come forward or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
