Police appeal after woman followed in ‘suspicious incident’ in Colwyn Bay

Police are appealing for information after a woman was followed in a “suspicious incident” in Colwyn Bay.

The incident took place at approximately 7.05pm on Wednesday, January 4 when a woman was walking to her car after work from Rhiw Road towards Claughton Road.

She was approached by man who officers described as being black and wearing a cream/white jacket with a fur hood.

He was said to be showing her his hand and asking her to help him with it but his hand was empty.

The woman told him she couldn’t help and walked quickly to her car whilst on the phone to her mother.

When she got into the car, she saw the man had followed her and was stood at her car window, before locking the car and driving off.
