Man arrested after being spotted carrying machete on street in Anglesey town

A man has been arrested after being seen carrying a machete on the streets of an Anglesey town.

Police said they were called to a public order incident on Mona Street in Amlwch, where the man was apprehended and the weapon confiscated.

In a post on social media, officers said: “We would like to thank local residents for their assistance and reassure you that there is no further cause for concern.”
