A dispersal order has been put in place covering an old hospital site for the Halloween weekend.

Police are looking to deter visitors to the North Wales Hospital site in Denbigh due to its ongoing popularity with ghost hunters and urban explorers.

There are also fears of an increase in anti-social behaviour at the location.

Police will be working with security teams at the site to ask anyone found in the area highlighted below to leave.

If they refuse or return they are liable to be arrested which could result in a court conviction.

Police said: “Please remember the site is extremely dangerous and in particular the derelict buildings which still contain hazardous asbestos.

“The site is fenced off for a reason, and that’s to keep everyone safe. Thank you and enjoy Halloween safely.”
