Three nights of roadworks on busy dual carriageway

Roadworks are set to take place over three nights on one of North Wales’ busiest stretches of roads.
The maintenance work will be carried out on the A525 dual carriageway in November.
Drivers and other road users have been asked to be patient as there will be disruptions to the route that connects Rhyl and Prestatyn to the A55.
The works will be between the Talardy roundabout in St Asaph and the Bryn Cwybr roundabout in Rhuddlan near the by-pass.
The works will begin on November 11 for three evenings and nights.
Lane closures will be in place and this may cause some minor disruption.
A spokesman for Denbigshire Council said: “The council would like to thank motorists in advance for their co-operation during these essential works and apologises for any inconvenience caused.”
St Asaph county councillor, Peter Scott, welcomed the works.
He said: “This is work that needs to be done and I don’t think it should keep too much inconvenience to people in the area. I am satisfied the council has done everything it can to minimise disruption for residents and road users alike. I understand sometimes roadworks can be frustrating but these things have to take place so we have safe roads to use.”
