Closure notices have been served on three properties in Rhyl in a crackdown on County Lines drug gangs.

The addresses in the town were targeted by police yesterday as a result of the residents either being victims of or suspected to be involved in drug dealing.

The initial closure notices will last for 48 hours, but officers are due to make an application before magistrates on Wednesday to replace them with a full/partial closure order.

PCSO Lydia Platt said: “These orders have been sought in order to protect the occupants, their immediate neighbours and the wider community from the impact that County Lines drug dealing can have.

“If you have any information of drug dealing or other criminality please contact 101 or crimestoppers-uk.org”
