Two men charged with burglary and GBH after serious assault in St Asaph

Two men have been charged and remanded in custody following a serious assault in St Asaph this weekend.

Shortly before 10pm on Friday, officers were called to a report that three men had forced their way into a property on Bro Havard and assaulted the homeowner.

Two men who were arrested in connection with the incident have now been charged and remanded to appear before magistrates in Llanduduno tomorrow.

Lloyd Hogg, aged 20, and 27-year-old Mark Ashley Hogg, both of Ffordd Newydd, St Asaph, have been charged with burglary with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm and grievous bodily harm with intent.

A third man who was arrested has since been released without charge.

The man who was assaulted remains in hospital with serious injuries.
