Man seriously injured and three arrested after assault in St Asaph last night

An investigation is underway after a man was seriously injured after being assaulted in St Asaph last night (Friday, June 12th).

Shortly before 10pm officers were called to a report that three males had forced their way into a property on Bro Havard and assaulted the occupant.

Three men have been arrested in connection with the incident – a 51-year-old, 27-year-old and 20-year-old and all three remain in police custody.

DS Mark Bamber from St Asaph CID said: “I would like to reassure the local community that this is an isolated incident with no other persons being involved. Police will remain in the local area conducting enquires surrounding the circumstances of the incident.

“We are appealing to anybody who may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the vicinity, or if anybody has any information that could assist with our investigation they are asked to contact us immediately.”
