Witness appeal after cyclist ‘found injured’ on the A55

North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses following a cyclist being found injured on the A55 at Valley this evening.

Sergeant Jason Diamond, said: “A man who was cycling on the A55 westbound has been found injured this evening and was taken to hospital by ambulance.

“We are appealing to anybody who was in the area and saw the cyclist between 7pm and 8.30pm this evening to contact us.

A full road closure is in place between junction two and three police say it will remain closed for a number of hours. Diversions are in place.

Witnesses or anybody with information or dash cam footage that could assist the investigation are asked to contact North Wales Police on 101 quoting reference Z138844.
