Two men arrested as North Wales Police target County Lines drugs ring

Two men have been arrested in Liverpool on behalf of North Wales Police in a bid to target a County Lines drugs ring.

Two warrants were executed early yesterday morning by the Sefton Targeted Team & the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit.

It resulted in two men being arrested and charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and conspiracy to supply heroin.

Connor Higgins (30) of Litherland, Sefton and James Douglas (27) of Pearce Close, Liverpool were due to appear before magistrates today.

Investigating officer PC Christopher Wynne of the Central Tasking Unit said: “Yesterday highlighted another great example of collaborative work by Merseyside Police, the Regional Organised Crime Unit and ourselves.

“I would like to pass on my thanks to both teams in assisting with the execution of the warrants.”
