Two arrested after “serious assault” at Waterside flats in Holyhead

Police are investigating a serious assault in Holyhead.

Shortly before 6pm yesterday (Monday 4th January) officers attended a report of a serious assault at a flat within Waterside, Holyhead.

David Parry, a local man, had sustained significant injuries.

Detective Superintendent Mark Pierce said:”I am appealing for information about who may have been present at Waterside flats, Holyhead between midday and 6.30pm on the afternoon of Monday 4th January.

“Two arrests have been made, and our investigations are ongoing. It’s vitally important for anyone with information, or any witnesses to this serious assault to come forward to help us with our enquiries.

“There will be an increased police presence in the area, and officers will be happy to stop and engage with you should you have any information relating to this incident.”
