Serious collision closes A4244 in Glasinfryn

Police have closed the A4244 in Glasinfryn following a serious collision.

Emergency services are on the scene of the single-vehicle crash which has happened between the Tregarth turn off to Pentir.

An air ambulance has landed close to the incident.

Police have asked drivers to avoid the area.

A local traffic report states: “Road closed and queueing traffic due to crash investigation work on A4244 both ways from Tregarth turn off to Pentir. Road has been closed just before 07:45 due to a serious accident involving one vehicle, affecting traffic between Bethel and Llandygai..”
