Police are advising people to be aware of rogue traders who have been delivering flyers in the Conwy area.

The warning comes after people living in Old Colwyn and Colwyn Bay were targeted this week.

No work was undertaken by the two men who were found touting for business. They were spoken to by police and reported for breaching COVID-19 legislation.

Insp Daf Curry said: “We would advise people not to respond to these flyers and only to use reputable traders.

“Residents who want work undertaken are advised to gain at least three quotes for the work from reputable businesses.”
