Renewed appeal after fatal Llandundo collision
North Wales Police have launched a fresh public appeal following the fatal road traffic collision in Llandudno last week.
The incident took place on Marine Drive at 10.30pm on Thursday, 29 October.
Three males, aged between 17 and 18 have been arrested and interviewed in connection with the incident, and have since been released whilst enquiries continue.
Officers are requesting dashcam footage from anyone who was driving around Llandudno town centre between 10pm and 10:30pm.
The force is also appealing for dashcam footage from anyone who drove along Marine Drive, Llandudno from the Toll House around the headland anytime between Monday 26 and Thursday 29 October.
Detective Inspector Tim Evans from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “I would urge people not to speculate on the circumstances of this collision or make comment on social media as this can be particularly distressing.
“Since our initial appeal, we have now traced the black-coloured vehicle. However, I believe that there are people within our local community who have direct information which could assist this investigation and provide answers on what led to the tragic and devastating death of a young man, loved by so many.”
Anybody with information is urged to contact officers at the Serious Collision Investigation Unit via webchat on the North Wales Police website, or by calling 101, quoting reference number 26000888717.
