‘Pop down to the police station if you recognise these drugs’ – officers issue invite after seizing large cannabis stash

Police officers have issued a tongue in cheek invitation to the owners of a large stash of drugs which has been seized in North Wales.

Officers acting on a tip off from members of the public have located a big haul of cannabis in the village of Glan Conwy.

They are now looking to speak to whoever they belong to.

In a post on Facebook, they said: “Officers from Rota 4 along with colleagues from NWP Special Constabulary have responded to intelligence based information from members of the public, and located a large quantity of cannabis in the Glan Conwy area.

“If you recognise these as your drugs, feel free to pop down to Llandudno Police Station and we can have a chat about them!”
