Police have seized a quantity of drugs and cash after carrying out a raid in Denbigh.

Officers executed several warrants in the town earlier today targeting suspected drug dealers.

Members of the Conwy and Denbigh Rural policing team shared pictures of the items seized which included some concealed in dog poo bags.

In a post on Facebook, they said: “We have today conducted warrants in the Denbigh area which led to the seizure of controlled drugs and cash.

“They are the latest in the line of a number of warrants conducted recently targeting local drug dealing.

“We will continue to act on intelligence received from the local community.

“For those wondering, we weren’t dealing with responsible dog owners. The doggy poo bags were not full of what they are intended to be used for!”
