Police seek information after van stolen in Bangor

Police are appealing for information after a van was stolen in the Bangor area.

The theft occurred at around 7pm yesterday evening (Wednesday, 17 July) when a silver Vauxhall Vivaro was taken from Holyhead Road.

The vehicle was later found and recovered off-road on a grass verge near the A499 junction for Trefor in Clynnogfawr.

A North Wales Police spokesperson said: “Upon reviewing CCTV of the incident it appears that a number of members of public could be seen walking on Holyhead Road at the time of incident.

“We ask that anyone who may have information regarding this incident to contact police quoting reference 24000625573.”
