Police seek help identifying man whose body was found on Llandudno beach

Police are asking for help to identify the body of a man found on a beach in Llandudno.

Officers were called at 8.40am yesterday to reports of the body being discovered near to Craigside, Llandudno.
An investigation is underway and the death is currently being treated as unexplained.
DS Rob Mahoney said: “Following the sad discovery of a man’s body on the beach at Llandudno, his identity remains unknown.
“He is a white male believed to be in his 40’s and is about 5’7” tall.
“I’m appealing for witnesses who may have seen anyone acting in an unusual manner in the area Tuesday evening to Wednesday morning, or anyone who has concerns for the whereabouts of a man matching this description, to call 101 or use the live webchat https://www.northwales.police.uk/…/nor…/areas/live-chat/quoting ref Y179910.”
