Police respond to concerns over tractor drivers speeding whilst on phones

Police have addressed concerns following reports of tractor drivers speeding whilst on their phones on Anglesey.

Reports are said to have been received following a recent community event in Newborough.

Local officers said: “Following a community event in Newborough, it has come to our attention that residents are concerned regarding tractors speeding through the village of Newborough, Dwyran and surrounding areas whilst on their mobile phones.

“North Wales Police will be monitoring this closely to ensure this does not happen again.”
