Police have released footage of a man they want to speak to in connection with a hate crime which took place in North Wales this weekend.

At approximately 2am on Saturday morning, an offender spray painted a swastika onto the garage door of a woman who lives on Penygroes High Street.

Officers have now released CCTV images in the hope of identifying the person pictured.

Inspector Jon Aspinall said: “At a time when racism is headline news, it is unacceptable for members of our community to be targeted in this way.

“We treat all hate crime extremely seriously, and if anyone can help us identify this person, it would be greatly appreciated.

“Please contact us via our live webchat, or by calling 101. You can also call CrimeStoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
