One person arrested after man dies following St Asaph ‘incident’

An investigation is underway after a man died following an incident in St Asaph yesterday afternoon.

Shortly before 5pm North Wales Police received a report that an assault had taken place outside an address in Llys Clwyd, St Asaph.

Police say a man, aged in his 50’s, has been arrested and is currently in police custody.

Detective Chief Inspector Emma Naughton of North Wales Police said: “Our thoughts remain with the man’s family and friends at this difficult time.

“We are satisfied that this was an isolated incident, however we are appealing to anybody who may have been in the vicinity of Llys Clwyd yesterday afternoon and who may have witnessed the incident, to contact us immediately.”
