Police issue appeal after dog stolen from property during burglary in Bala

Police have issued an appeal after a dog was stolen from a property during a burglary in Bala.

Six-year-old border terrier/ jack russell cross Maisey was taken at some stage between 11.30am and 4.55pm yesterday (Thursday 6 January).

A set of high value coins and a quantity of alcohol were also stolen during the burglary in the Bethel area.

Officers are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious to come forward.

North Wales Police said: “A white transit type van with distinct reflectors along the both its sides was seen in the area from approximately 0830hrs – 0930hrs.

“We are appealing for any information or any witnesses to any suspicious behaviour to make contact via 101, or use our online webchat facility quoting occurrence reference (22000013585).”
