Police are investigating after two motorbikes were stolen from Bangor area last week.

The first bike is reported to have been taken in the early hours of Friday 13th October from William Street in the city.

It is described as a black KSR Moto GRS index CE17KKH. Anyone with information is asked to contact police quoting reference 23001004176.

The second bike was reported to have been taken from an address on Glynne Road in the city between 7pm and 9.30pm on the same day, but was later found abandoned.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police quoting reference 23001005135.

District Support Sergeant Andy Davies said: “We’re appealing for anyone who may have seen either of the described motorcycles or may have dashcam or private CCTV footage of the area either on Friday October 13th or afterwards to contact us.

“We’re also appealing for residents to remain vigilant for suspicious activity in the area, and for motorcycle owners to check the security of their vehicles when left overnight.

“If possible, park your motorcycle where it can be seen by yourself or your neighbours, and use locks and alarms when possible. The more security measures that you take, the less attractive your motorcycle will appear to thieves.”
