Police appeal after man pushed off electric bike in Rhyl in attempted robbery

Police are appealing for witnesses following a report of an attempted robbery in Rhyl. ‌​‌‌​​​‌‍‌​‌​‌​​​

The incident on the access road to the H Bridge, close to the junction with Marsh Road, happened at around 2.30pm last Thursday (January 19th). ‌​‌‌​​​‌‍‌​‌​‌​​​

It is reported a man was pushed off his electric bike and assaulted, before an attempt was made to steal it. ‌​‌‌​​​‌‍‌​‌​‌​​​

Detective Constable Andrew Etches is appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward. ‌​‌‌​​​‌‍‌​‌​‌​​​

He said: “It would appear that during the incident, a male and female have separately tried to intervene and help. ‌​‌‌​​​‌‍‌​‌​‌​​​

“I am appealing to them to get in touch, and to anyone else who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious or have any dash cam footage that may have captured the incident. ‌​‌‌​​​‌‍‌​‌​‌​​​
