Police are appealing for witnesses after a boat and trailer was taken from the roadside on Anglesey.

The Maxxam 1900sr boat was left at the entrance to a farm on the A5 Holyhead Road, Valley just off junction 3.

It was last seen at approximately 9.30pm on Friday 10th September after the owner left it at the location due to it having a broken axle.

Officers have asked for anyone with information on its whereabouts to come forward.

They said: “The broken axle and weight of the boat meant it would have been moved with great difficulty, so we are appealing to anybody who may have witnessed suspicious behaviour or who may know of the boat’s whereabouts to contact us immediately.

“If you can help please contact us via live webchat quoting reference number 21000630050.”
