A petrol station in Old Colwyn has been closed while emergency services deal with an incident.

North Wales Police, the Welsh Ambulance Service and North Wales Police are all in attendance at the incident this morning (Monday, 20 November).

Reports on social media suggest it’s the Asda Express petrol station which is affected.

Members of the public are being urged to avoid the area.

A NWP spokesperson said: “Officers are in attendance at the petrol station in Old Colwyn, alongside colleagues from WAST and NWFRS.

“The forecourt will be closed for some time and motorists are advised to avoid the location until further notice.

“This is an isolated incident and not linked to any other police activity in the Colwyn Bay area.”
