Multi vehicle incident on A55 by Rhuallt Hill – warning of ice & hail on road

Update: All lanes have now been reopened and the vehicles have been recovered.

Update: Debris has been cleared off the carriageway and recovery is being undertaken.

1 lane is currently open to traffic but there is heavy congestion in the area.

A multi vehicle incident has taken place this afternoon on the A55.

Traffic Wales have said, “We are dealing with a live lane incident heading eastbound between J29 Rhuallt and J30 Pant y Dulath.

“Police and traffic officers are en route”.

North Wales Police said, “Multi vehicle collision A55 Eastbound between junctions 30 and 31 top of Rhuallt Hill. Delays expected. Ice/hail on road. Take care.”
