Man arrested on suspicion of wounding after incident in Caernarfon at weekend

A man has been arrested on suspicion of wounding after an incident in Caernarfon at the weekend.

An area of Pool Street in the town was cordoned off yesterday following a public order incident in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police covering the north of Gwynedd have now confirmed a man has been arrested and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Officers said: “Following our statement yesterday (18/12) concerning the public order incident in the Pool Street area of Caernarfon, a man has been arrested on suspicion of Section 18. Wounding and bailed with conditions.

“We are appealing for any witnesses to come forward who were in the area shortly after 3am to contact police with any information that may assist in our investigations.
