A fly-through video has been released to show how a proposed new community hospital in Rhyl could look.

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is offering an opportunity for residents to share feedback on the development of the new North Denbighshire Community Hospital.

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the region’s health board has continued work with partners, Kier and Gleeds, on plans for the hospital and the refurbishment of the Royal Alexandra Hospital.

It is expected that a formal application will be submitted to Denbighshire County Council in June.

Before that, the health board is inviting people to see progress made so far this year and get involved in sharing their thoughts on the project.

New artistic impressions of work to redesign the hospital have also been released, showing the hospital’s location at the back of the existing Royal Alexandra Hospital.

The fly-through video, the latest artist impressions and a survey where you can offer feedback can be accessed on the health board website here.

The deadline for taking part in the survey is 17 June.
