The family of the woman who died following a road traffic collision in Llandudno Junction last month have paid tribute to her.

Sophie Elizabeth Baker was 31 years old and lived in the Conwy area.

In a statement, Sophie’s family said: “Sophie loved nothing more than getting up in the morning, getting into her leathers and getting on her motorbike.

“She would love to ride the hills and valleys of North Wales and beyond with her biking friends, and she loved being part of that community. She was happiest on her bike.”

Siblings – Zak, Sam and Claire, said: ““She marched to the beat of her own drum, never afraid to be herself – even if that meant being a little messy, a little stubborn, or a little argumentative.

“And honestly, those were some of the very things we loved most about her.

“Beneath it all was a heart so full of love and fiercely loyal to those she cared about.

“To our sister – thank you for simply being you. You will forever remain a part of us, and we will carry your memory with us every day.”

Sophie’s parents, Julie and Jeff added: “Sophie was a daughter, granddaughter, sister, auntie, niece, cousin and sister-in-law who has left a massive hole that shall never be filled.

“Loved by us all and constantly missed but never forgotten. Ride free darling.”

Officers continue to investigate the collision which happened at around 07:40hrs on Wednesday, 20 August on the 6G road (A546) at Llandudno Junction.

Anybody with information is asked to contact officers at the Serious Collision Investigation Unit via the website or by calling 101, quoting reference number 25000689666.
