Investigation launched after badger ‘shot several times in the head with an air weapon’

North Wales Police rural crime team have said they are investigating a shooting.

The above and below images are of x-rays taken of the badger, that revealed the air gun pellets inside the animal.

Police say they are working with the RSPCA on an investigation after the badger was found snared and dead near Henrhyd, Conwy.

The rural crime team said, “X Ray examination reveals that it has been shot several times in the head with an air weapon, the snare had also been removed by the offender”.
