Coastguard called to help man who fell on rocks on Anglesey beach

A coastguard team on Anglesey was called to help a man who had fallen and injured himself on a beach.

The incident happened after he tumbled on rocks at Moelfre beach at 9am this morning with the Welsh Ambulance Service also called to the scene.

The coastguard team were asked to assist with moving the man off the beach to the ambulance before being stood down.

The crew has now wished him a speedy recovery and said: “Remember if you see anyone in difficulty around the coast call 999 and ask for the coastguard.”
