A man from Bangor has been jailed for breaching a restraining order and assaulting an emergency worker

Lloyd Watson Lloyd, 28, appeared at Caernarfon Crown Court today (Wednesday 27th September) after being charged with harassment – breaching a restraining order, assaulting an emergency worker and criminal damage.

He was sentenced to 20 months in prison for the offences.

District Acting Inspector Andrew Davies said: “We welcome today’s results which will have a positive impact on communities of Gwynedd north.

“Assaults against emergency workers will not be tolerated.

“We will deal robustly with anyone who not only sees fit to assault police officers, but also proves to be a persistent drain on our resources with his criminal behaviour.”
