An appeal has been launched after two dogs were stolen in Denbighshire, leaving their own “heartbroken”.

Police are asking for help to trace the working cocker spaniels which were taken yesterday from Llanfair Dyffryn Clwyd, near Ruthin.

Officers from the rural crime team said: “So sad to report that a heartless individual has decided to steal 2 working Cocker Spaniels from Llanfair DC, Ruthin yesterday.

“4 Year old male called Teal & 1 year old bitch called Nell.

“As you can imagine the owner is heartbroken.

“Please RT & let’s get them safely home.”
