“Wrong direction” car on A55 prompts police appeal

North Wales Police Roads Policing Unit are appealing for witnesses or dash cam footage following an incident which occurred earlier this evening.

At 5.17PM this evening (Thursday 29th Dec) a dark / black hatchback vehicle travelling eastbound on the A55 stopped between Junction 9 and 10 at Bangor, then proceeded to travel in the wrong direction on the A55 towards Britannia Bridge.

Anyone with any information which may help identify the vehicle is asked to contact North Wales Police on 101, quoting reference number B1914327.
