Woman charged after police use stinger to bring chase to an end in Bangor

A 40-year-old woman has been charged following a police pursuit from Anglesey to Bangor.

The incident that closed Caernarfon Road in Bangor, near to McDonalds, happened at around 4.20pm on Wednesday.

Officers deployed a stinger device to bring the pursuit to a safe conclusion, successfully deflating the vehicle’s tyres.

North Wales Police said Paula Clutton, of Pentraeth, was charged with a number of driving offences and has been remanded in custody to appear before Llandudno Magistrates Court this morning.
