Two police officers have received a commendation for saving the life of a man who tried to jump from the Britannia Bridge.
PC Gerallt Williams and PC Liam Morris, who are both based in Llandygai base, have been given a Superintendent’s Commendation after pursuing a high risk missing person who had threatened to take his own life.
The officers worked together to bring the high-pressured pursuit to a conclusion, ending on the Britannia Bridge.
They managed to grab hold of the man before he jumped and have been commended for their dedication to duty and professionalism.
The North Wales Police Roads Policing Team has congratulated the pair on the accolade in a post on Twitter.
