Two men have been charged with the murder of David John Jones, 58, from Holyhead known locally as DJ.

David died as a result of extensive head injuries in Royal Stoke University Hospital on Thursday November 19.

Gareth Wyn Jones, aged 47 and Stuart Parkin, aged 38, both from Holyhead, will appear before Llandudno Magistrates court tomorrow morning where an application will be made to remand them in custody.

Senior Investigating Officer, DCI Brian Kearney said; “Despite two individuals being charged, I would continue to appeal for any witnesses who saw the victim, David John Jones also known as DJ, between 1000hrs and 1100hrs in Holyhead to come forward.

“A Major Incident Room has been set up at LLangefni Police Station and we will continue to conduct enquiries locally. Our thoughts remain with David’s family at this tragic time.”

Officers have this evening been granted a warrant of further detention at a special court in Mold in respect of the female also being held in connection with this murder investigation.
