Tributes paid to ‘cheerful and loving young man’ who died in Llandudno crash

The family of a young man who died following a collision on the A470 in Llandudno have paid tribute to him.

Finnley Michael Jones, who lived in Penrhyn Bay, was 20 years old.

His family said: “It is with great sadness that we announce the tragic loss of our beloved son and brother in an accident.

“He was always the most loving, generous and happy young person, who was enjoying life to the full and he will be most terribly missed by his family and all the many friends who knew and loved him.

“We, his family, are devastated, as we begin to comprehend the loss of Finnley. His positive outlook, his humour and his sweetness will always stay with us, and we are missing already the presence of such a wonderful young man.

“Finnley was a content, optimistic, cheerful and loving young man, and our lives are the better for having known him.”

The family have also expressed their thanks to the emergency services and members of the public who assisted Finnley at the scene of the accident and to North Wales Police for their compassion and professionalism.

Officers continue to appeal for witnesses to the collision which happened at approximately 8.30pm on Monday, October 24th, involving a black Vauxhall Corsa and a white Vauxhall Corsa on the A470 Conway Road, Llandudno.
