Tributes paid to ‘caring’ 15-year-old who died in incident at Ty Mawr Holiday Park

The family of a 15-year-old girl who died in an incident at a caravan park in Towyn last weekend have released a heartfelt tribute.

Amanda Selby was staying with her family at Ty Mawr Holiday Park when the incident occurred.

A 19-year-old man who is reported to be her brother Matthew Selby has been charged with murder in connection to Amanda’s death.

Here family said: “Amanda was a loving daughter and grand-daughter – she was caring, thoughtful, liked to help others and very much loved. She will be very sadly missed.

“We ask that our privacy is respected at this difficult time.”

The family continue to be supported by specialist police officers.
