Three sightseers from Lancashire have been reported for breaching the Covid regulations after travelling to North Wales.

Police said the three men came to the Llandudno area this week to take in the views from the Little Orme.

Only essential travel is currently allowed in Wales under the alert level 4 restrictions, for example, for caring responsibilities or for work purposes where people cannot work from home.

Officers said: “We continue to focus on ensuring our community stays safe in these challenging times.

“Officers have been out and about across the area, including undertaking road checks last weekend.

“Unfortunately some people continue to breach the Covid regulations including 3 men who drove to the area from Lancashire to take in the view of the little Orme (Safe to say all three were reported for Covid Breaches!)

“Thank you to the community for supporting us by staying home and staying safe, being vigilant and reporting drug related and Covid concerns to us.

“Please continue to report information to us by calling 101, our live webchat or speaking to CrimeStoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
