Three people have been arrested in relation to drug dealing offences after police carried out a series of raids in Holyhead.

Officers on Anglesey executed four simultaneous search warrants today under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

As a result, the trio were arrested on suspicion of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply.

As part of the operation, local officers were supported by an armed unit, police dogs, the force’s interceptor team and British Transport Police.

PC Dylan Thomas said: “Today’s operation signifies Anglesey’s policing teams’ commitment to disrupting the supply of class A drugs on the island.

“I would like to thank our colleagues from BTP police for their support today, which signifies our continued co-operation and intelligence sharing.

“I’d also like to thank the local community for their help and patience as we carry out this operation and reassure them that tackling drug supply in our locality remains a priority.”

If you have information regarding the supply of drugs or someone you believe is involved in organised crime, contact North Wales Police on 101 or alternatively via Crimestoppers 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111.
