Three arrested for alleged drug dealing offences following police checks in Gwynedd

Three people have been arrested for allegedly being involved in dealing cannabis following road checks carried out in Gwynedd.

Police were stopping vehicles on the A470 at Cross Foxes, near Dolgellau yesterday afternoon.

It led to a 31-year-old man being arrested for possession with intent to supply cannabis, a 19-year-old man was arrested for drug driving and being concerned in the supply of Class B drugs and a woman, 28, was arrested for being concerned in the supply of cannabis. Officers said all three were local to the area.

In a statement posted on Facebook, they said: “Rest assured policing continues as usual despite the pressures brought on by the Covid19 outbreak.”
