Multi-agency searches are continuing today on Yr Wyddfa for missing man Kieran.

He was last seen shortly before 12pm yesterday, Monday 29 September, on Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) in the Bwlch Glas area near the Pyg Track.

Kieran is described as wearing a camouflage coat and has a dark beard.

Chief Inspector Emma Parry said: “Sadly, Kieran remains missing, and we haven’t yet received any further confirmed sightings of him after midday yesterday.

“Searches are continuing today alongside our Mountain Rescue Team, NPAS and HM Coastguard colleagues.

“I continue to urge anyone who was walking in the area yesterday to check their photos for sightings of Kieran, and anyone who may have seen him from 7am onwards to contact us.

“I am also continuing to appeal to the group of walkers who saw Kieran shortly before midday to make contact with us.

“I would also extend my thanks to all those who have assisted in our searches so far, and for all those offering support.

“Whilst we appreciate the help, I would also urge people not to put themselves at risk when visiting the area, and to always bring appropriate equipment.”
