Robbers steal high value watches after threatening man in ‘highly distressing’ incident at house in Colwyn Bay

Police are appealing for information after high value watches were stolen during an incident at a house in Colwyn Bay.

A man who was at the property on Conway Road was threatened by two offenders, one of whom was wearing a balaclava, at about 11.45pm on Sunday.

Officers are now asking anyone who has information or may have been offered one of the watches for sale to come forward.

Detective Inspector Elfyn Hughes said: “This incident was very distressing for the victim, who fortunately was not seriously injured.

“The first suspect is described as a male of large build, approximately 6 feet tall wearing a balaclava and black clothing and, the second as a male, about 5 feet 11” tall, wearing dark clothing.

“Both men are described as having Irish accents.

“I’m appealing for anyone who has information they feel relevant, or anyone who has been offered high value watches for sale to contact police quoting reference number Z001478.”
