Roads closed due to flooding and fallen trees as Storm Franklin hits North Wales
A number of roads in North Wales have been closed due to flooding and fallen trees this morning after Storm Franklin hit the area.
Off the back of the impact of Storm Eunice, the region has been impacted by strong winds and heavy rain over the last 24 hours.
With a yellow weather warning for wind in place until 1pm, Traffic Wales has urged drivers to consider whether it’s necessary to head out.
Closures are in places at the A483 Dee and Ceiriog Viaducts because of high winds.
The A498 Tremadog to Aberglaslyn is also closed due to fallen trees on the road, along with the B5429 Rhuallt to Tremerchion and the road near Pont Dic in Brynsiencyn.
The A55 Britannia Bridge is now closed to high-sided vehicles in both directions due to high winds.
