Residents in Prestatyn are being encouraged to install doorbell cameras after a daytime burglary took place in the town.

A burglar broke into a property on Cambrian Drive at around 12.30 yesterday afternoon (Monday).

During the incident, they stole jewellery and a green Carrera mountain bike.

North Wales Police have asked for anyone with information to come forward, as well as urging residents to take precautions.

The force said: “Our ref is Z149614 if you have any information that might help.

“If you don’t already have one, consider fitting a doorbell camera such as Ring.”
