The RAF has announced the public may see or hear helicopters training day and night across North Wales.

Over the next few days Puma helicopters may be seen around North Wales as they practice their mountain flying skills by day and by night.

The RAF say these skills are “essential” as they’re routinely used on operations such as those the Puma Force are currently supporting in Afghanistan.

They were also used when the Puma Force deployed to Scotland in support of the UK’s response to coronavirus earlier this year.
